Night of the Lights

When Leigh Community Centre invited us to take part in their provision of children’s activities preparade on the Night of the Lights, we didn’t hesitate. The afternoon saw a transformation of Room 5 into a mini emporium, with lots of books and puppets and some Christmas story sharing, including a rousing reading of Father Christmas Needs a Wee. Southend United mascots Elvis the Eel and Sammy the Shrimp joined us and were very impressed with some of our books.
