London Book Fair (April 9th – 10th 2014)
Tilda and Jacqui spent two blissful if exhausting days at the London Book Fair this week, searching out new titles for the autumn, new ideas for storytelling and magpie-ing a few ideas for display from the various stands. There was a certain amount of catching up with old friends, and the making of new ones, and in no particular order these are our top 5 moments:

So, we’re back with sore feet and lots of ideas buzzing around our heads … even more than normal and not helped by the amount of coffee we’ve drunk over the last few days. The biggest news is centred round a very constructive meeting that we had with the amazing team at Barrington Stoke with regards to our plans for this year’s Independent Booksellers Week. There will be lots of details to follow on this shortly and invitations will be in the post … but in the meantime, think author visits, experts, children’s activities, parent and teacher events, and lots and lots of wonderfully inclusive books.
