About the Event
Meeting once a month, our Young Writers’ meets will take place on the last Sunday afternoon of the month at the Metal Art School in Chalkwell Park. Each afternoon will run from 2pm – 5pm and each participant, aged 12-16 years, must be registered to participate.
Each afternoon will be a mix of activities and free writing time, centred around a workshop by a guest author.  A signed copy of the author’s book each day is included in the price.
Everything for the event will be provided in the fee, including all writing resources and refreshments. If participants have a favourite pen or notebook, they are welcome to bring them along. We also require a completed members form for each child, which gives permission for their attendance. Previous attendees to our events need not complete this form but will be required to confirm the details are the same as the ones we hold.
