YA Young Writers' Fun Day

The Jacqson Diego Young Writers’ Fun Day enables young writers the space and opportunity to develop their writing skills through fun and creative activities to create a piece of work over a day. Like our Young Writers’ Retreats, the day will be structured with a mix of activities and optional free writing time to help the children develop their work in a way that suits them individually, while providing them with opportunity to work collaboratively and make new friends. The events will be run in a safe environment and all staff are DBS checked.

The Fun Day is being held at Metal in Chalkwell Hall, the big white building in Chalkwell park, Westcliff on Sea, and everything required to participate in the writing activities will be provided in the fee. Children will need to bring a packed lunch and a coat / jumper as we will venture outside. Drinks and fruit snacks will be provided.
