Story Bites Writes

Story Bites Writes is an inclusive weekly writing club for children aged 8 - 12 years,  of all abilities, who are passionate about writing. Our group meets at the Metal Art School in Chalkwell Park to grow ideas, share their writing and start new writing projects that have been inspired by a range of activities and games. Each week provides opportunities for all members of the group to develop new skills, develop their confidence, and to work both together and individually in an unpressurised way and to have fun with their writing and inspire each other to try new things.

In addition to our regular challenges and tasks, our activities in the past have included visits to the beach to write haiku, numerous guest author visits, and a workshop with an archivist from the Oxford English Dictionary.

The ticket is priced per half term and includes all resources required for the 5 week project.

There are limited spaces and booking is essential.
