The event is suggested for children aged 8 - 11 and their familes and everyone must have a ticket. There are two types of ticket. Entrance only, which is free, or entrance including a book which is priced at £7.99. There will also be additonal books to purchase at the event, including copies of Ian's other books. All books purchased will be signed and dedicated by the author at the event.

About the Book:

There’s a ghost in Richard’s wardrobe. Every day he carries out a series of rituals that he believes will keep the ghost trapped inside. He checks the door again and again. He tries to tell his friends and family, but they dismiss his worries and concerns as being part of his OCD. But then one day, the wardrobe door is opened… And that’s when the hauntings begin. Will Richard be able to ask his friends for help…and how can he make them believe him? An own-voices novel about mental health, family, friendship, confronting fear and accepting change.

“Defiantly fabulous” – Guardian “An honest, timely novel” – Irish Independent

“A nuanced, heart-warming and character led story of finding joy and love” – Elle McNicoll

“Fizzing with heart, humour, kindness and joy” – Piers Torday
