We are thrilled to be bringing author Chrissie Sains to visit your child's school for an exciting in-person event on Friday 10th October as part of the launch of her new series of books Beastopia! Chrissie has been to Sothend before to share her Jam Factory books and can't wait to return to share this new book with the pupils!

Chrissie will be inspiring and engaging the children with her own stories of being an author and her love of writing, alongside sharing ideas and top tips with the children in lots of engaging ways. The event is going to be a lot of fun!
We know that author visits often inspire children to want to read and share the author's books afterwards. Following the event there will be a book signing and an exciting opportunity for the children to meet Chrissie to collect a pre-ordered book and have this copy personalised and signed. To pre-order a book and guarantee availability please use the links below.
Pre-orders need to be with us by 10am on Thursday 9th October. All books that are pre-ordered will be brought into school on the day to be signed by the author at the event. Please note: there will not be an after school signing as the event is during the school day.
