The Jacqson Diego Poetry Competition 2020
Supported by Otter Barry Books
Do you love to write?

We know that many of you do, and this year for National Poetry Day we are holding a very special writing competition that will be head judged by poet Justin Coe.

The theme of this year’s National Poetry day is Vision and we are looking for entries that interpret this in anyway you like. We will split the entries into 3 age categories Under 8s, 8 – 12s and 12+.
The winner of each category will win a Jacqson Diego Voucher, a copy of one of Justin Coe’s poetry books and have their poem read by Justin Coe at our virtual poetry celebration on Bookshop Day. Runners up in each category will also have their poems shared by Justin. There will also be an overall winner who will receive a selection of poetry books published by the wonderful Otter Barry Books.

The rules:
One entry per person

Entries must be clearly marked with your full name and date of birth

Entries to be emailed to stories@jacqsondiego.com or posted into the poem post box in the emporium, no later than 5:00pm on Saturday 19 September 2020

Entries can be typed or handwritten (emailed scans and photographs of handwriting are acceptable)
Winners will be announced on National Poetry Day 2020 – Thursday 1st October 2020.
The judges are poet Justin Coe and Jacqueline Johnson from Jacqson Diego.

With thanks special thanks to Justin Coe and Otter Barry Books for their support.
