We are thrilled to be bringing the fabulous, acclaimed author Jennifer
Claessen into school for an exciting in-person event with the students on
Tuesday 4th February.

Jennifer will be talking about being an author and theatre maker, her own love of books and what has inspired her in the writing her brand-new book The December Witches, the third and final book in the A Month of Magic trilogy. The event is going to be a lot of fun and we know that author visits often inspire the participants to want to read and share the author's books. Following the event there will be a booksigning, an opportunity for the students who have pre-ordered the book to meet Jennifer Claessen and have their own copy of the book personalised and signed.

To pre-order a book and guarantee availability please order below. Pre-orders need to be with us by 10am on Monday 3rd February. There is no charge for delivery and all books that are pre-ordered will be brought into school to be signed by the author at the event.

Please note that there will not be an after-school book signing but additonal books will be available on the day, although we cannot guarentee specific titles will be available unless pre-ordered.

The following books are available to order:

The conclusion to the A Month of Magic trilogy. December is Clemmie Merlyn’s favourite month as it usually begins with birthday cake and gifts. But as she turns thirteen, it begins with a bang: Clemmie, and Clemmie alone amongst all witches, is full of magic.
So full of magic she might not make it to the end of the month. Because someone, or something, has chosen Clemmie and made her their One True Witch.
But magic is meant to be shared and no-one can survive being filled to the brim with starry power. Can the Merlyn and Morgan covens finally take on the ancient twisted magic of their ancestors?
